Social Media, Messaging and More – Shoshana Weissmann

Podcast Interview with Soshana Weissmann

Shoshana Weissman is our favorite Twitter Senator and a Social Media Rockstar

If you’re a conservative on Twitter, you need to follow this week’s guest: Shoshana Weissmann. Before we get into why, I want to tell you about a really cool tool I found this week!

This is the ONLY weekly podcast that focuses on one thing: Winning Elections.

I found a really cool app last week that I want to mention to y’all. It’s called Bonjorno and it’s a powerful tool for sharing personalized video messages. I wrote an extensive blog article about it last week and we’ll link to it in the show notes. It was made to increase the personal connection of customer service teams with clients but I think there are some really powerful ways for campaigns to use it. I’m personally using it to connect with new subscribers to our weekly email news letter and new enrollees in the online courses that My Campaign Coach offers.

In the blog article, I walk y’all through some really cool use cases for how campaigns can use Bonjorno as well as show you how to set it up for maximum efficiency!

This week’s guest is a master of all things twitter, enemy of ridiculous regulations and lover of all three toed sloths. Shes got the most colorful hair in Washington, DC and when she’s not searching for sloths to pet, she’s making memes of Mitch McConnell.

Shoshana Weissmann is digital media specialist with the R Street Institute, where she manages the institute’s social media and email marketing, in addition to contributing graphics and video skills.

Shoshana joined R Street in June 2017, having most recently managed digital communications for Opportunity Lives, a group that highlighted positive stories and policy solutions. Before that, she managed social media and wrote for The Weekly Standard.

Earlier in her career, she managed digital communications for America Rising PAC, where her strategy was highlighted in a piece that appeared in The New York Times.

Shoshana Weissmann has been featured in Red Alert Politics’ “30 Under 30” list and, in 2012, was the youngest person on the District of Columbia Republican Committee’s “35 Under 35” list.

She lives in Washington and has a stuffed sloth named Grover G. Norsloth.
